Hi, I am a spunky 8-year old who would really like to meet you. I am not sure what happened to my original home, but one day I found myself running across Monterey Road and landed in the arms of a nice lady. Daisy is a sweet, loving dog. and a wonderful companion. She is hoping to find her special person. Daisy is a special needs adoption. She has been losing her eyesight since November and our vet suspects she has SARDS. We had taken her to the eye specialist to see if SARDs was a confirmed diagnosis, prior to the shelter in place so that we could learn more about her future care and at that time they recommended that we bring her back for a procedure where they would sedate her and get a better look at her eyes. Unfortunately, when the shelter in place hit, they postponed our appointment until this month. Daisy is adjusting well to her blindness and it doesn't take her much time to get familiar with new places we take her. As you can imagine without her sight it can be very startling to be grabbed out of the blue. We recommend some gently prompting before going to pick her up to avoid her startling or snapping in fear. She has also become more protective of her food bowl since losing her sight, so best to have a good feeding routine for her and feed her away from the resident dog. Daisy is such a smart and brave little girl. Daisy is housebroken and crate trained. She loves to sleep in her plush bed at night. Daisy's adoption fee is $155. Coco is a gently soul. He joins us all the way from Hawaii! Coco connects quickly and loves completely. He loves to cuddle and snuggle. Coco plays nicely with small dogs. He is not a fan of cats. He LIVES for mealtime. He will jump and prance to his bowl. Coco would be great as a single dog or with possibly another small dog. He definitely needs a home who enjoys couch and cuddle time. Before Every Pet's Dream rescued Pepper she was stiff and in pain, surrendered by her owners who didn't provide medical care...Fast forward to today, Pepper is a happy girl. She is doing great in her foster home and she is on a medical treatment plan! Pepper is one of our special needs dogs. We believe that Pepper has immune-mediated polyarthritis. She is currently on prednisone. Our vet believes that she will remain on prednisone or used when she has a flair up. She takes her meds like a champ. We would love to find Pepper a forever home. She weighs about 12 pounds. Pepper takes a little bit of time to warm up, but once you are in the Pepper club, you are in for life. She had infected and thickened skin which is consistent with dogs that spend a lot of time outside. But those days are in the past. Vanilla Bean's skin has already recovered in our care. Vanilla Bean loves chewing edible dog bones and other dog snacks. Her amazing foster mom taught her how to walk on a leash.
