Enzo is a super sweet and loving pup. He needs a little time and patience, go slow and let him come to you. Once he trusts you, his goofy, affectionate personality will shine through and completely melt your heart. One of his cutest quirks? If you howl, he’ll “sing” right along with you — it’s absolutely adorable! Energy Level? Medium House trained? Yes. I would say he can hold his potty for up to 8 hours. He will let you know if he has to go by walking over to the door. If you don't take him out right away, he will run to you, then run back to the door until you take him out. Describe how they are on a leash? At first, he was afraid of the leash and would freeze when I put it on. Now he walks twice a day and has learned that it's not so scary. At times, he needs some gentle encouragement to continue to walk. He is getting more comfortable each day. Describe how they are with other dogs? Enzo is great with other dogs. He ignores most, but he will sometimes find one that he wants to play with. It's adorable when he does. Have they been around cats or other animals? How were they? Enzo has met one cat. He was very curious. Slow introductions on leash would be advised. Commands they know? He does not know any commands yet, but is working on the sit command. What are their favorite things? Cuddling with his favorite humans, small plushy squeaky toys, treats, and dog park What do they need to work on? He still needs confidence walking on the leash and basic commands. How are they when left alone? How long have they been left alone? He has been left with the resident dog, two days a week, for 8 hours. He has also been left by himself for up to 4 hours. He does well and mostly sleeps. Where do they sleep? On his dog bed, but he's also allowed on the bed. He is a great snuggler. What is their ideal home? Enzo would do great in a calm, patient home. He gets along well with gentle children, adults, and other mellow dogs, but can feel overwhelmed by dogs that play too roughly. His perfect family will give him time to build confidence and continue working with him on daily walks. Enzo travels well in the car when crated — it helps him feel safe and secure. Outside of his crate, he gets nervous and may try to climb on his person, so a secure crate is the best way for him to enjoy car rides comfortably and safely. |

Chido was recently abandoned by his owner, and all the sudden changes have been a lot for him to process. It’s heartbreaking for such a loyal companion. Ignore cats we met on walks (cats not moving), sometimes will chase squirrel if squirrel runs but will continue to walk easily Commands they know? Kobi is a super sweet guy who is very loving and really smart. He is also a hugger. He is about 2- 3 years old and about 15 lbs with short legs. He catches on to what you are telling him fast and responds pretty quickly to it. He is also a great watchdog. He will bark when he hears noises near his home, so he would not do well in an apartment building. He gets along great with all the dogs in his foster home and settled into the pack in a week. Kobi loves to run around with the ball in the yard, sunbathe, and do the zoomies. In the house, he likes to sit next to you and keep you company wherever you are. He is a loyal little guy, and you matter most in his life. He loves to be held like a baby and will stay like that as long as you want. He is good with older dog-savvy children, but he can get annoyed if they do not leave him alone when he wants to be and will grump. He is a good boy who just has a lot to say. Kobi is house-trained, walks well on a leash, rides in the car well, sleeps in his own bed, and loves to be covered! He mostly just hangs out, and he would be a good addition to a home with another or multiple dogs. Spunk is a COMPLETE sweetheart. He can be shy at first when he first meets people and may yield a submissive wee. Once he realizes you are safe, all he wants to do is love you and give you kisses. He loves scritches and pets. When he’s comfortable, he will follow you around and lie against you. He wants as much attention as he can get, but on his terms. Energy Level? Low/Medium House trained? Yes. Just watch him closely the first few days. In a new place, he will want to mark. Once he is comfortable and feels safe, the marking went away completely. Describe how they are on a leash? We are still working on leash training. At first, he did the alligator roll when he felt the slightest tug on the leash, but after just a few days, he no longer does this, and will walk well short distances. It will take no time at all for him to be comfortable going on long walks. He loves to be outside! Describe how they are with other dogs? Spunk is a happy-go-lucky pup and loves to hang out with and initiate play with other dogs. If a dog shows that he/she is not interested, then Spunk just walks away politely.
